Studio Registration Instructions

To register your studio, you must sign up for the forums. Recording Junkie is going to maintain one login per user site wide. This is for ease of use to the users, as well as to our administrative needs.

After you have registered you will need to click the Place Studio Marker link in the upper right corner of the forums, or here :) to update your studio coordinates in our database. *You must be logged in for this to work*

After you get a "Success" message from the Studio Added page, you can search your zipcode to find your studio on the map.

Plans are to add a search range by miles in the near future, but that will come as we can get to it. Also, optimizing of this process will be done as it is needed, so be patient as the number of studios registered rises, so does the processing time.

I hope everyone likes and can benefit from all of the work we have put into this tool. :)

If you ever want to delete your studio from the map, simply delete the studio information in your forum profile. The studio info are all of the fields from "studio name" through "Type of business".

*We have not tested the geocoding with addresses outside the US, feel free to test your address, but if it is not accurate you can find your latitude and longitude at Google Maps. To do so you can find your location by scrolling and zooming in on your studio, then right click on the map and click the "Direction to Here" option. This will put your latitude and longitude into the get directions box at the top of your google maps screen. Copy and paste those coordinates and email them to us via our contact us form. The coordinates will get added into the database so your studio can show up on the map.
