RECORDINGJUNKIE.COM RETURN GUIDELINES

All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained by contacting us.

Please save all packaging and accessories for any item that is returned to Recordingjunkie.com. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents and packaging must be returned with your item in order for Recordingjunkie.com to process your RMA. An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at Recordingjunkie.com's discretion, unless otherwise required by law. Products with specific refund and return policies and deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item. All items sold through Recordingjunkie.com are subject to our Policy and Agreement. Physically damaged items cannot be returned.

All returns for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Removal or alteration of a product's serial number or serial number sticker will automatically void your RecordingJunkie Return Policy. Products that are returned to RecordingJunkie with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you at your expense.

Standard Return Policy

This is our Detailed Standard Return Policy. Unless another return policy is indicated, products sold by Recordingjunkie.com are covered by this Standard Return Policy. Merchandise under this Standard Return Policy may be returned a) within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund, or b) within 90 days of the original invoice date for a replacement of the same item. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Many manufacturers offer additional factory coverage. With regard to such, you should contact the manufacturer of your item directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.

Limited 30-Day Return Policy

This is our Detailed Limited 30-Day Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (products for which Recordingjunkie.com states "This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only") must be returned to Recordingjunkie.com within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Additional coverage, if any, is provided solely by the product's manufacturer (as indicated by such manufacturer).

Limited Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy
  • Return for refund within: non-refundable
  • Return for replacement within: 30 days

This is our Detailed Limited Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy. Products that state "This item is covered by Recordingjunkie.com's Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy", or items labeled as "Non-refundable" (or similar labeling) must be returned to Recordingjunkie.com within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same item.

Consumable Items Return Policy
  • Return for refund within: non-refundable
  • Return for replacement within: 30 days (item must be sealed & unopened)

This is our Detailed Consumable Items Return Policy. Consumable items are items such as drum heads, guitar strings, head cleaning solutions, and recording media such as CD/DVDs, etc. that are consumed once they are used. Consumable Items can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date if and only if the item is sealed and unopened in its original retail packaging. Please contact us for RMA information regarding consumable items.

Open-Box Items
  • Return for refund within: 15 days
  • Return for replacement within: non-replaceable

This is our Detailed Open Box Item Return Policy. Recordingjunkie.com often sells items that are listed as "open-box." Because these items are sold at greatly reduced prices, they bear this limited 15-day refund-only return policy through Recordingjunkie.com. Such items can only be returned within 15 days of the applicable invoice date. Recordingjunkie.com cannot provide replacement service for these items, as their stock is limited. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of these items is with the buyer. These items have been tested for functionality, but may have superficial physical defects including (but not limited to) scratches, dings or dents. Should these items prove defective following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, or Recordingjunkie.com) assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law. These items are not covered by any 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

If you purchase an Open-Box product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE item, meaning you will only receive the item itself. Accessories are NOT INCLUDED with Open-Box products, even if the missing accessory is required for the item to function properly. If accessories are missing the item will state such to the best of our ability.


Mail In Rebate Policy

Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable.

Products offering mail-in rebates are not returnable to Recordingjunkie.com once the rebates have been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace any defective item missing the UPC code.

Manufacturer's Warranties

Recordingjunkie.com does not offer any express warranties. However, many of the products available through Recordingjunkie.com are covered by Manufacturers' Warranties. If a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, it will be stated on that product's web page. Manufacturer's warranty details are typically available at the manufacturer's website; click here to see a list of the manufacturers whose items we carry. Detailed manufacturer warranty information can also be obtained for free by contacting us. Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.

Products that state "This item can be returned to the product manufacturer only" must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by law. For these items, the warranty policy provided by the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or "end-user") of the item.

ADDITIONAL RMA TERMS

Physical Damage Policy

Physically damaged items cannot be returned to Recordingjunkie.com.

Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

If you return any physically damaged item to Recordingjunkie.com, the item will be returned to you at your expense.

Combo Specials

Combo Specials include two items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Combo items may be returned for replacement within their applicable Recordingjunkie.com Return Policy Period. If a Combo item is returned for a refund, the Combo Discount will be voided, and the discount amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. (For example, if your combo discount was $5, and you return one of the combo items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.)

Out-of-Stock (Back-Order) Items

Sometimes items are returned to Recordingjunkie.com after the product has been discontinued. If Recordingjunkie no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, the item will be sent to our Back-Order RMA Department. A refund of the current market value of the product will be issued. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued.
