Consignment Policy

• We reserve the right to review and accept consignment material at our discretion.
• All items consigned and sold through Recording Junkie must remain in the store's possession until the contract is cancelled or completed.
• When your item sells, you may choose from either 100% in-store credit or 85% cash which may be redeemed within 18 months (store credit cannot be used to buy other consigned items).
• All consignments will be made available for purchase for at least 6 consecutive months.
• Consigners have the choice for their items to be reduced in price or returned to them (at their own expense) after consignment expiration. Items on consignment can be extended by sending an updated consignment contract with the new end date.
• If consigners decide to retake possession of their item after consignment, Recording Junkie will attempt to contact you(the consigner) by email to notify you of your upcoming consignment expiration. If consigners do not respond to email within 10 business days items will be considered reduced 10% per week until sold and the 85% proceeds will be mailed to the address stated on the consigners agreement. For this reason, Recording Junkie must require that all consigners keep their contact information as current as possible. Recording Junkie is not responsible for your address and contact changes and can only follow policy based on the information we have on record.

When contacting us for consignment please include the make, model, and condition of the item you would like to consign. You may suggest a price for consignment as well, but will receive an offer for consignment sale if the price is considered too high for the market to bear.

After we receive your contact email, we will review your information and respond with an offer and our consignment contract. If the offer is acceptable, you can ship your item to us along with the signed consignment contract. We will contact you when your item sells or at the end of the consignment period, whichever is first, to see how you would like to receive payment or the item.
